Daniel has been building for nearly three decades, ever since helping a friend construct a 4,400-square-foot home in the hills of North Carolina in 1996. What began as a hands-on apprenticeship—wiring systems, finishing ceilings, managing key phases—quickly became a calling. Building opened the door to other life-shaping practices like tai chi and acupuncture, and eventually to two years of travel across Asia and India, where he absorbed new ideas of space: functional, serene, chaotic, and sacred.

After settling in Boulder and finishing his degree at CU, Daniel earned his general contractor’s license and began working in trim carpentry and residential construction. Today, his passion is stronger than ever: helping people bring clarity, flow, and delight to the spaces they live in every day. Whether it’s the mundane routines or the occasional disco party, he believes homes should support lives fully lived.

Daniel has been building alongside Karl for more than 15 years. Their collaborative rhythm has shaped dozens of successful projects and happy clients. Ben joined the team more recently, bringing deep professionalism and technical range that allows Tempo to take on just about any residential challenge.
